Matrix Music Pad App Reviews

Its easy to jump right into it and play, but it would be nice to be able to actually save your own tunes and use them. Loading doesnt work at al, you get something totally different, and making your own music was the only reason I bought this app. I guess Ill just have to hope an update will allow you to save and load.

The complaint others have had about save not working is incorrect. They made music, saved their song, but did not know that the music is plotted to different quadrants of the screen. You need to tap the segments in the sequencer mode to compose music for more quadrants. Music is saved perfectly, you just have to know how to figure it out. I love how you can do so much with this app. (and the eyeball pyramid when you create a triangle is a great touch)

Matrix Music Pad This is a pretty cool music app to play for fun, or possibly perform with, but trying to compose on the iPhone with my big fingers its really tedious. If the iPhone allowed fine point pen input I might feel otherwise— but of course, it doesnt. I think it would be great if the developer could provide a MIDI import feature for sequences 16 beats in length for each of the three parts. That would free musicians to compose in the sequencer of their choice (or allow non-musicians to import purchased MIDI clips), and then perform them live in Matrix Music Pad. Anyone else agree?

Deffinetly worth the cash. Im not one to write reviews on apps, but as soon as I used up my iPods entire battery just palying with this app, I knew this must be one everyone should have. Deffinetly worth the money.

This is an awesome music app but the sound does not work for 4.0. Please make an update soon it was really fun until I updated to 4.

I cannot get it to PLAY music on My Iphone 3g With OS4. And a strange Keyboard Pops Up than Goes away At beginning.

Since the other reviewers probably wont change their reviews I just wanted to confirm that it is now working on OS4 on my iPhone 4. One of the first apps I bought and still lots of fun.

this is a cool application but it seems as thought the sound is changed... for the default song is different

Changed it back to factory settings but the original song it came wont come back :/ would give it 5 stars otherwise

I dont ever write reviews but this app is one of the best undiscovered apps to date!!!

Its a fun little app with only a few issues. The small problem is that the boxes you tap to input a sound is quie tiny. Since you can only input a max of 3 sounds to a column, accidentally clucking the wrong box is a pain, even when zoomed in. The other problem is a little more serious. After some relatively arduous work i managed to come up w a beat i liked. However, i would save it and come back to it later only to find that its been replaced by another random beat. Losing that work is a little disheartening. Makes me not want to play w it.

Amazing app, the concept is so simple and easy to grasp that youll be rocking in a matter of seconds. If you know your way around music youll want to leave the default song behind and create your own beats, which is really easy thanks to the interface.. If you love music, get this, its superb fun and addicting :)

Disappointed that iNudge (free) lets you see and listen to other peoples "compositions" and yet MMP (1.99) doesnt. Please add this. Besides that problem, one of the best apps ever! 
